Jerusalem’s Har Hotzvim High-Tech Park Completes $44 Million Reconstruction

The Jerusalem Municipality and the Jerusalem Development Authority concluded a six-year modernization of the city’s primary technology hub.

Jerusalem’s Har Hotzvim high-tech park has officially completed its renovation. The city municipality and the Jerusalem Development Authority (JDA) invested 44 million shekels to upgrade the major technology cluster. Work continued uninterrupted for six years and overhauled all the complex’s core infrastructure.

Construction crews completely renewed the road surfaces, sidewalks, street lighting, and parking areas. Contractors also created new green recreation zones for tech employees and installed a modern security system. Furthermore, the grounds now feature designated food truck spaces, which will begin serving visitors in the coming months.

Currently, about 15,000 specialists work at the complex every day. The municipality projects this figure will reach 25,000 in the coming years. Consequently, this growth will drive further commercial development and the opening of new tech company offices.

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion noted that project funding directly impacts employment growth. Har Hotzvim remains a key high-tech hub for Israel, housing offices and production facilities for companies such as Intel, Mobileye, and Rafael.
