Israel real estate database: 3.8 million transactions released to the public

The Israel real estate database now includes approximately 3.8 million transactions completed since the 1990s. TheMarker reported the launch of public access to this information on September 27, 2026. Users can download the dataset and apply filters based on cities, neighborhoods, property size, room count, dates, and sale prices.
The new platform displays the detailed sales history of individual properties. The system reveals the dates and prices of previous transactions if a house or apartment changed hands multiple times. This feature assists buyers and market analysts in tracking property value fluctuations over time.
Attorney Guy Zomer, head of the “Information for the People” initiative, developed the project. The Tax Authority previously held all price and address records solely within its internal systems. The government had earlier decided to disclose this information, but users lacked the proper tools for bulk downloading and comprehensive comparison.
The launched platform simplifies the analysis of actual property prices across various streets and districts. The developers note that the archives might contain minor errors or missing details. They emphasize that open statistics do not replace professional property appraisals or legal inspections before a purchase.
