Yoel Landau Provides NIS 1,200 in Aid to 6,000 Jerusalem Residents Ahead of Sukkot

Thousands of Jerusalem residents received financial assistance ahead of Sukkot as part of a charitable campaign held before the autumn Jewish holidays. Eligible recipients were given a one-time payment of NIS 1,200.
The initiative was launched and funded by businessman and philanthropist Yoel Landau. It primarily supported large families and kollel students — those studying full-time in religious institutions dedicated to Torah study.
Organizers reviewed applications and compiled a list of approved recipients. Approximately 6,000 people received the assistance, bringing the total amount distributed to about NIS 7.2 million.
According to the organizers, similar campaigns are regularly held ahead of Jewish holidays to help economically vulnerable groups in Jerusalem.
