Ahavat Ha-Shem Gordon Defeats Yehuda Israel in Boxing and Reveals Plans to Transition to MMA

Ahavat Ha-Shem Gordon successfully debuted in the American Team Combat League, securing a confident victory in a boxing match against Yehuda Israel.

Israeli fighter Ahavat Ha-Shem Gordon, who made a name for himself in world Muay Thai and kickboxing, continues to conquer new sporting heights. This time, the young athlete successfully debuted in the American traditional boxing team league, Team Combat League (TBL). For the twenty-year-old fighter, this was an unusual yet conscious step, which he views as a crucial stage of preparation for his primary career goals.

Competing as a guest participant for the Los Angeles Elite team, Gordon fought in his characteristic dominant manner. Despite his core disciplines always being Muay Thai and kickboxing—where legs and elbows are actively used—the athlete proved his mastery in classic boxing technique as well. To ensure a solid performance in this new format, Ahavat Ha-Shem took intensive private boxing lessons in Israel. The results of his hard training fully paid off: in the ring, he confidently secured a victory over Yehuda Israel, bringing vital winning points to his Californian team.

Following his successful performance, the athlete shared his emotions and shed light on his future plans. He openly stated that he accepted the offer to compete in the TBL to hone his hand-striking technique, which is essential for his transition to mixed martial arts (MMA) and his goal of signing a contract with the world’s largest promotion, the UFC, as soon as possible. The fighter expressed special gratitude to his fans. A large crowd of Israelis came out to support their compatriot in the USA, creating an incredible atmosphere in the arena, which, according to Gordon himself, literally made “the ground shake.”
