Theodor Herzl Letters, Mossad Relics, and Historic Golda Meir Documents Head to Charity Auction

The auction catalog also includes an extensive collection of historical photographs, manuscripts, ceremonial Judaica, and other artifacts.

Collectors and connoisseurs of historical rarities have a unique opportunity to acquire museum-quality artifacts directly linked to pivotal chapters of Jewish history. Co-hosted by the Combat Antisemitism Movement (CAM) and Curio Auctions, the online auction features authentic, museum-grade items spanning several centuries.

The “United Front Against Jew-Hatred Charity Auction” has already launched, drawing collectors from around the globe. All proceeds from the sales will go toward supporting CAM’s global initiatives to combat the sharp rise in antisemitism worldwide. Organizers emphasize that the project unites two vital goals: preserving Jewish cultural heritage and protecting the future of the Jewish people.

Among the marquee lots are rare letters and personal effects belonging to Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern political Zionism, early pre-state Zionist documents, and a 1944 English-language YIVO edition of *The Battle of the Warsaw Ghetto*. Also drawing significant interest are an original DC Comics page depicting Superman fighting antisemitism and a March for Soviet Jewry poster signed by Natan Sharansky.

The auction catalog also includes an extensive collection of historical photographs, manuscripts, ceremonial Judaica, and other artifacts. These feature fine art, such as Menashe Kadishman’s painting “Herzl’s Vision on the Balcony“, military relics highlighted by a rare medal from the Mossad’s elite “Kidon” unit, and monument designs autographed by legendary Israeli Prime Ministers Menachem Begin, Yitzhak Rabin, and Golda Meir.

According to CAM CEO Sacha Roytman Dratwa, the event represents much more than just an auction. “These are genuine heirlooms that will inspire generations, while simultaneously supporting the mission of creating a world where Jews can live without fear,” he noted. The auction arrives at a time of heightened focus on the issue of antisemitism following the events of October 7, 2023, which saw a sharp spike in incidents targeting Jewish communities globally.

Bidding is open to international collectors via the Curio Auctions online platform. Organizers hope the initiative will underscore the inextricable link between preserving history and actively defending the Jewish future.
