Israeli Elections: Netanyahu Urges Right-Wing Voters to Support Likud to Prevent Split

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has called on the national camp to cast their ballots exclusively for the Likud party in the upcoming October 27 elections. He warned that voting for smaller right-wing factions could lead to a loss of mandates and prevent the formation of a majority coalition.

The upcoming Israeli elections on October 27 pose significant risks for the national camp, according to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. He urged right-wing supporters to vote exclusively for the Likud party. The head of government stated that the fragmentation of the right wing just before the vote makes it impossible to form a majority ruling coalition.

Addressing his supporters, Netanyahu highlighted the threat posed by the emergence of numerous small electoral lists. The inability of these parties to cross the 3.25% electoral threshold threatens the loss of hundreds of thousands of right-wing votes. The Prime Minister noted that this division benefits the opposition and blocks the 61 mandates required to establish a stable government.
