Teddy Stadium Parking in Jerusalem Becomes Paid Starting September 1

The Jerusalem Municipality is converting the parking lots near Teddy Stadium and the Arena into a paid "blue-white" zone. The new regulations take effect on September 1, 2026, introducing free parking hours for local residents.

Starting September 1, 2026, the parking lot adjacent to Teddy Stadium and the sports Arena in Jerusalem officially transitions into a municipal paid zone. City authorities are implementing these changes following the launch of the new L3 light rail line.

The updated regulations include specific benefits for Jerusalem residents. Drivers receive the first hour of parking for free, provided they activate a session using parking applications such as Pango or CelloPark. Holders of the “Yerushalmi” resident card receive a second consecutive free hour, assuming they have not utilized this benefit at another municipal lot that same day.

Once the free hours expire, drivers pay standard city parking rates. Enforcement operates from Sunday to Thursday between 07:00 and 23:00. On Fridays, municipal inspectors monitor the lots from 07:00 to 13:00. Parking remains free of charge on Friday afternoons and all day Saturday.
