Israeli series “Fauda” tops Netflix ratings in the Middle East

The fifth season of the Israeli series "Fauda," which touches upon the events of October 7, has rapidly climbed Netflix ratings, unexpectedly topping viewership charts across the Middle East.

Following its release on Netflix on September 8, 2026, the fifth season of the Israeli series “Fauda” quickly climbed Netflix’s charts. According to FlixPatrol, the show entered the top 10 in dozens of countries and ranked between fourth and sixth place among television shows globally on the platform.

The series performed particularly well in Middle Eastern countries. As of September 10, “Fauda” ranked first in Lebanon. It ranked second in Jordan, the UAE, and Bahrain; third in Qatar, Oman, and Kuwait; fourth in Egypt; fifth in Morocco; and ninth in Saudi Arabia.

The fifth season, which previously aired on Israel’s yes network, includes episodes dedicated to the events of October 7, 2023. The series has continued its strong performance in the region, with previous seasons also topping Netflix’s charts in several Arab countries.
