YouTube Premium in Israel to Increase Subscription Price by 25% on October 15, 2026

The cost of the individual YouTube Premium plan in Israel will increase from 23.90 to 29.90 ILS per month starting October 15, 2026. This adjustment represents an increase of 6 ILS, or approximately 25%. Existing subscribers will receive formal notifications and see the new rate applied during their next billing cycle. New subscribers will register under the updated pricing structure immediately.
The platform also plans to adjust pricing for family and student tiers, with specific figures to be disclosed at a later date. Israel has maintained its original pricing structure since 2019, remaining one of the most affordable markets globally. The upcoming change significantly narrows the pricing gap between Israel, the United States, and European markets.
This price adjustment reflects a broader international rollout by the video service. YouTube raised subscription rates across the United States in spring 2026 and introduced similar adjustments across Europe and Asia in August. Subscribers will continue to receive standard features, including ad-free streaming, offline downloads, background playback, and full access to YouTube Music.
Previously, the video hosting platform also announced stricter conditions for content creators: starting February 1, 2027, the platform will raise the thresholds for channel monetization.
