Jerusalem March on Sukkot: Three Routes and Celebrations at Sacher Park

The Jerusalem March will begin at 7 a.m. on Sept. 28, 2026, and continue until 4 p.m. on the second day of Chol HaMoed Sukkot. Tens of thousands of Jerusalem residents and visitors from around the world are expected to take part in the traditional procession. All designated routes will finish at Sacher Park.

Organizers have prepared three walking routes of varying lengths and difficulty levels. The longest, a 12-kilometer route for experienced walkers, will start at Givat Massuah. The intermediate 9-kilometer route will begin at Ein Yael, while the short 5-kilometer family route will start at Safra Square. All three routes pass through city streets and scenic trails before finishing at Sacher Park.

Sacher Park will host live performances and family activities throughout the day, with entertainment options for younger guests. Organizers will operate special shuttle buses from Teddy Stadium to the starting points. Additional shuttle services will run from the Binyanei HaUma complex to the starting points at Givat Massuah and Ein Yael.

Participants who register in advance can also purchase a commemorative medal.
