Major Reconstruction of the “Binyanei HaUma” Complex in Jerusalem Approved
Jerusalem approves reconstruction of Binyanei HaUma: towers up to 40 floors, new congress center, hotel, senior residence, offices, culture and commerce spaces.

The District Planning and Building Committee has approved a major reconstruction project for one of Jerusalem’s most iconic landmarks — the Binyanei HaUma complex.
According to the approved plan, the site will allow the construction of buildings up to 40 floors high.

The project includes:
- a new international-level congress center;
- a hotel with 200 rooms;
- a senior residence with 300 apartments;
- office spaces of approximately 75,000 m²;
- public and cultural-educational facilities covering 45,000 m²;
- commercial areas of nearly 30,000 m².
The plan also involves the renovation of facades and modernization of urban infrastructure in the area.
Experts believe the reconstruction will strengthen Jerusalem’s status as a hub of business and culture in Israel, while creating new opportunities for tourism, commerce, and employment.
