Bar Kuperstein Publishes “Unbroken”: A Memoir of Hamas Captivity and the October 7 Events

Former hostage Bar Kuperstein has published a new book, “Unbroken” (לא נשבר), detailing his harrowing experiences and personal account of captivity. The memoir is already on sale and is generating widespread public interest as a crucial documentary record.
The author recounts the tragic events of the October 7, 2023, attack on Israel at the Nova music festival, where he was working as a security guard and paramedic. The book meticulously reconstructs the timeline of the events, including the moment of his abduction and the ordeals that followed.
Dedicated chapters focus on the conditions of his captivity by Hamas in the Gaza Strip. The author describes daily life in confinement, his psychological state, and his journey toward release and return to Israel.
The official launch of the book took place at the Israeli President’s Residence. Bar Kuperstein personally presented a copy of the publication to President Isaac Herzog and First Lady Michal Herzog.
According to experts, “Unbroken” represents a significant contribution to the documentation of the October 7 events and could serve as an essential resource for understanding the aftermath of the conflict.
