Ogen Allocates $30 Million to Support Victims of Iranian Missile Attacks

Ogen allocates $30M to support Israeli businesses and families after Iran’s missile attacks: loans, mentoring, humanitarian aid

Israeli nonprofit organization Ogen, the country’s largest social lender, has launched an extensive emergency aid program to support families and small businesses affected by Iran’s missile strikes during “Operation Rising Lion.”

The initiative, called Israel’s Financial First Responders, starts with an initial fund of 100 million shekels (approximately $30 million), with plans to expand it to 200 million shekels in the coming weeks.

The financial assistance package includes:

85 million shekels (around $25 million) for subsidized loans and credit lines for small businesses;

15 million shekels (about $4.4 million) in interest-free loans of up to 50,000 shekels for households, aimed at covering lost income or repairing damaged property;

Free mentoring and consulting – a three-month business support program for entrepreneurs;

Comprehensive humanitarian aid – in collaboration with the municipalities of Haifa, Tamra, and others, Ogen will provide affected families with housing, employment services, psychosocial care, and legal assistance.

The program pays special attention to vulnerable communities, including Arab citizens, IDF reservists, and residents of border areas. According to Ogen, the goal is not only to offer immediate financial relief but also to support long-term recovery and resilience.
