Eilat, July 10, 2025
The mayor of the resort city of Eilat, Eli Lankri, has declared the city’s full readiness to receive international tourists. This announcement comes following the decision of the Russian Foreign Ministry to once again consider travel to Israel safe for Russian citizens.

According to Lankri, the city currently offers around 11,000 hotel rooms and about 4,000 short-term rental properties. Additionally, 12 new hotels are under construction, which will add over 1,800 hotel rooms upon completion.

Authorities note that Eilat provides tourists with a calm environment, stable security, and developed infrastructure. Demand for vacations in the region is recovering, and the upcoming tourist season promises to be active. There is particular interest from tourists from Russia, Europe, and Middle Eastern countries.

The resort continues to develop its beaches, leisure facilities, and internal logistics. Special focus is on family tourism and individual travelers.
