Ephraim Kishon Comedy Festival Begins in Jerusalem: Five Days of Stand-Up, Improv, and Laughter

From August 17 to 21, 2025, Jerusalem will turn into the capital of laughter as the Ephraim Kishon Comedy Festival returns — one of the brightest cultural events of the summer.
For five days, guests will enjoy dozens of performances by Israel’s top stand-up comedians, improv shows, street performances, family plays, and free events across the city.
The festival is supported by the Jerusalem Municipality, the Ministry of Culture and Sports, the Incubator Theater, and the family of the legendary satirist Ephraim Kishon.
