Florida Bans Geoengineering and “Chemtrails”

Starting July 1, 2025, a new law signed by Governor Ron DeSantis takes effect in Florida, banning all geoengineering and weather modification activities, including so-called “chemtrails.” Violators face up to 5 years in prison and fines of up to $100,000. The law also requires airports to report any atmospheric chemical releases.
