Resort in Porté-Puymorens Refuses Entry to Group of Israeli Children

French police investigate Porté-Puymorens resort after refusal to host Israeli children.

Around 150 children from Israel, aged 8 to 16, were denied entry to a resort in Porté-Puymorens in southern France.

The resort manager declared he would not accept them due to his “personal beliefs.”

After the police were called, the man was arrested on suspicion of religious discrimination. As a result, the children were provided with another place to stay, where they were escorted under police protection.
