iPhone Ultra 2026 in Israel: Price, Release Date, and Specifications

The newcomer is designed to radically transform the company's smartphone lineup by offering users a phone-tablet hybrid.

According to the latest industry data as of May 2026, Apple is finalizing the development of its first foldable device, which, contrary to early expectations, will be released under the premium iPhone Ultra brand. This newcomer is designed to radically transform the company’s smartphone lineup by offering users a phone-tablet hybrid. The primary focus is on the durability of the hinge mechanism, with plans to use titanium alloys and liquid metal in production to achieve record-breaking chassis thinness.

iPhone Ultra Technical Specifications: Display, A20 Pro Processor, and iOS 20

Technical leaks indicate that the device will feature a primary flexible display with a 7.8-inch diagonal and a 4:3 aspect ratio, making it nearly identical in dimensions to the iPad mini. When folded, users will have access to a 5.5-inch external screen. The hardware foundation will be the latest 2-nanometer A20 Pro processor, providing unprecedented performance for updated artificial intelligence functions within iOS 20.

Release Date and Price of iPhone Ultra in the US and Israel

The official announcement of the iPhone Ultra is scheduled for September 2026, however, analysts warn of shortages at the start of sales. Due to the complexity of manufacturing flexible panels, mass shipments may shift to December. The expected cost of the device in the base configuration in the USA will range from $1,999 to $2,399, making it the most expensive smartphone in Apple’s history. In Israel, including VAT (17%) and import fees, the projected price will be between 7,900 and 9,500 New Israeli Shekels, which significantly exceeds the cost of current flagships. The appearance of this model may lead to a revision of the entire lineup: in 2026, the company may completely abandon the release of a standard iPhone 18 in favor of flagship solutions only.
