Israel Railways to Launch AI Photo Booth and Free Face Painting at Stations for Purim 2026

For the Purim holiday, railway stations across the country will be transformed into festive venues featuring digital entertainment and face painting for passengers.

In honor of the Purim holiday (March 2–4, 2026), Israel Railways will install an interactive AI-powered photo booth and open free face painting stations.

Holiday Activities and Locations at the Stations:

  • The photo booth will operate at the Tel Aviv Savidor Merkaz station on Tuesday, March 3.
  • The camera takes a picture of the passenger, and the AI instantly processes it, creating a digital costume or styling the photo as characters from the Megillah (Scroll of Esther). The final photo can be downloaded immediately to a smartphone.
  • Free face painting stations will open at the following stations: Jerusalem Yitzhak Navon, Haifa Hof HaCarmel, Beer Sheva Merkaz, Ashdod Ad Halom, Merkazit HaMifratz, and Modi’in Merkaz.

The service is completely free of charge for all station visitors.
