Israel Space Week 2026: Exhibition at the Jerusalem Science Museum
At the end of January, Israel traditionally celebrates Space Week. One of the central events will be the interactive exhibition "Beyond the Sky" at the Jerusalem Science Museum.
Israel Space Week starts in Israel today! It will last until January 29th. This is the 15th annual event, held every year at the end of January.
Dozens of interesting events for children, students, and adults will be held across the country. One of the main events will be the interactive exhibition “Beyond the Sky,” which will take place at the Jerusalem Science Museum.
Visitors can expect:
- A large inflatable digital planetarium. 3D flights through the Solar System, stories about stars and possible life on other planets.
- Workshops: researching living conditions in space, building flying machines according to Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings.
- Demonstrations: launching model rockets, experiments with water in space, observing the Sun–Earth–Moon system.
- Lectures: for example, about the Israeli space telescope ULTRASAT, which will be launched in a couple of years.
