Israel begins demolition of UNRWA office buildings at Givat Ha-Tachmoshet
Security forces are securing the perimeter as the demolition of the UNRWA compound begins in Jerusalem

In Jerusalem, work has commenced on the demolition of the headquarters of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA). The decision to sever ties was made by the government after facts emerged regarding the involvement of agency representatives in the October 7 massacre.
The Israel Land Authority is coordinating the demolition under the protection of police and security forces.
In attendance at the site, Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Aryeh King stated that once the area is cleared, the land will be utilized for state needs and urban development.
