Israeli Government Allocates 1.3 Billion Shekels for West Bank Settlements

The Israeli government has approved a funding program to support the development of settlements in the West Bank. The cabinet has allocated 1.3 billion shekels (approximately $434 million) for the implementation of related infrastructure and construction projects.

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich described the decision as an “historic step,” referring to the allocation of funds for the development of settlement communities. According to Smotrich, the program is aimed at further strengthening and expanding the infrastructure of communities across the region.
