Jerusalem Patriarch Considered as Successor to Pope Francis

Following the death of Pope Francis, the papal conclave has begun, and one of the potential successors being considered is Pierbattista Pizzaballa, the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. He is known for his efforts in interfaith dialogue and peacemaking in the Middle East, including organizing a prayer for peace with Israeli and Palestinian leaders in 2014.
