Winter Festival “Shaon Horef 2026” Kicks Off in Jerusalem: Over 100 Free Events in the City Center
The winter festival “Shaon Horef 2026” returns to Jerusalem. Every Monday in February, the city center will transform into an open stage with concerts, performances, and dozens of free cultural events.

Jerusalem is turning into a huge open-air stage once again! Starting February 2, 2026, the popular city festival “Shaon Horef” will return, warming the city’s cold winter evenings for many years with vibrant culture, music, and street creativity.
The festival, organized by the Jerusalem Municipality, will take place every Monday in February — February 2, 9, 16, and 23 — from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Entrance to all events is free.
- February 2 — Heleni Ha-Malka Street area: grand opening of the festival, presentation of the debut album by the project JABAN, live Brazilian music, circus and street performances.
- February 9 — Kikar Ha-Hatulot (Cat Square) and nearby alleys.
- February 16 — Bezalel Street and the Nahalat Ahim neighborhood, including events at the Beit Ha’Am cultural hall.
- February 23 — Upper part of Hillel Street.
The program features over 100 events across four evenings: live concerts and DJ sets, stand-up comedy, contemporary dance, street theater and circus, video art, installations, art workshops, lectures, and culinary shows.
