Netanyahu: Ending the War Without Defeating Hamas Will Lead to a New Catastrophe

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu harshly criticized anti-war protests, saying they strengthen Hamas and hinder the release of hostages.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a harsh critique of anti-war demonstrations, stating that they harm efforts to free hostages and undermine the country’s security.

His comments came during the weekly Cabinet meeting, according to JNS (Jewish News Syndicate).

According to Netanyahu, calls to stop the war without achieving a full victory over Hamas “strengthen Hamas’s position” and “delay the release of our hostages.” He also warned that such an approach could lead to a repeat of the tragic events of October 7 and turn the conflict into an “endless bloodbath.”

The Prime Minister stressed that in order to free the hostages and ensure Israel’s long-term security, it is necessary to “finish the mission and defeat Hamas.” In his view, this is the only way to achieve the war’s objectives and prevent future threats.
