Nitzan Chen Appointed as Head of Jerusalem Press Service

Nitzan Chen has been appointed to the position of Head of the Public Relations Department at the Jerusalem Municipality.
A native of Jerusalem, Chen is a graduate of the “Mercaz HaRav” Yeshiva and served in the artillery corps. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, a degree in Law, and a Master’s degree in Public Policy.
Chen began his journalistic career in 1987 at the “Itim” news agency. He later served as an editor for the British newspaper The Jewish Chronicle, a host and program editor for Kol Israel radio, and a parliamentary correspondent. He has held positions as Director of the News Division, Chairman of the Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Council, and for over 13 years, he headed the Government Press Office (GPO).
Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion noted that Chen possesses significant experience and professional achievements in the field of communications, expressing confidence that he will make a substantial contribution to the city’s image and the work of the municipality.
