Netanyahu Addresses Humanitarian Aid and UN Criticism

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu strongly addressed the United Nations, rejecting its accusations of blocking humanitarian aid to Gaza.
“There are secure routes. They have always existed, but now it’s official. The UN has no more excuses,” Netanyahu said at a cabinet meeting in Jerusalem.
According to the Israeli leader, claims by UN officials that Israel is obstructing humanitarian deliveries are untrue. He emphasized that Israel has provided secure humanitarian corridors, and recent government decisions have only strengthened aid delivery efforts.
Over recent months, the UN and other international organizations have accused Israel of impeding humanitarian aid to Gaza, where the humanitarian situation remains severe. Israel, in turn, argues that Hamas exploits humanitarian shipments for military purposes, complicating logistics.
In recent days, Israel has opened additional routes for food and medical supply deliveries and introduced humanitarian pauses in fighting. These measures followed mounting international pressure.
Moreover, numerous videos have surfaced on social media showing humanitarian supplies arriving in Gaza. Users share footage of unloading, distribution, and aid convoys, providing further evidence of functioning corridors.
