Radio Host Haim Suzana Passes Away at 50

Well-known Israeli radio host and musician Chaim Suzana has died at the age of 50 after a long illness.

The Israeli media world is mourning the loss of renowned radio host and musician Haim Suzana, who passed away at the age of 50 following a long struggle with a severe illness.

Haim Suzana was well-known to listeners of Radio Darom (101.5FM) as the host of a popular Oriental music program. In recent years, his health prevented him from broadcasting regularly.

Colleagues and friends remember him fondly, noting his warm character and boundless love for music.

“I will always remember his smile and his passion for song,” said his friend and colleague Yoram Svisa, commenting to the “mako” news portal.

In his fight against the illness, Suzana held onto hope until his final day. Just 24 hours before his passing, a message appeared on his personal Facebook page: “The important day has arrived when important decisions are made. The most important thing for a person is to take time to mend relationships and think carefully. Good news: we will be saved soon.”
