Romania Confirms Victory of Pro-European Presidential Candidate

Romania’s Constitutional Court has officially confirmed the results of the presidential election, declaring the victory of Nicușor Dan, a candidate advocating stronger ties with the European Union.

The decision came after the court rejected a complaint filed by nationalist candidate George Simion, who alleged widespread electoral fraud. The court found no grounds to overturn the results.
