Sahar Shemesh — World Jiu-Jitsu Vice Champion

Sahar Shemesh, representing Israel, won the silver medal at the 2025 World Jiu-Jitsu Championship. The tournament took place in Bangkok, Thailand, and brought together the best athletes from around the world.

After thrilling matches in the 85 kg weight category, Shemesh confidently advanced through all stages of the competition and reached the final, where he was defeated by only one opponent, securing a well-deserved second place.

This achievement is an important milestone for Israeli sports and once again demonstrates the high level of preparation of our athletes.
