Sylvester Stallone Book “The Steps”: Legendary Actor’s Autobiography Coming in 2026

Hollywood legend Sylvester Stallone has written an autobiography titled “The Steps”, set for release in late September 2026. In the book, the 80-year-old actor opens up about the hardships he overcame and details his remarkable journey from a struggling actor to an Academy Award-winning icon.
According to Stallone, the decision to finally write his memoir came shortly before his 80th birthday. He describes the book not simply as a success story, but as a reflection on survival, resilience, and determination in the face of adversity. The memoir explores his difficult childhood, turbulent school years, and the many rejections he faced early in his acting career.
The book focuses primarily on the pivotal years leading up to 1977, when “Rocky” became a global phenomenon and changed the course of his career. Published by Orion Publishing Co, the 320-page memoir takes its title from the iconic stone steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, which became a worldwide symbol of perseverance through the famous training montage in “Rocky”.
Pre-orders for both hardcover and digital editions are already available through major booksellers worldwide.
