Tel Aviv International Book Fair 2025: Literature, Memory, and Migration

Over 200 authors and publishers from Israel, Europe, the U.S., and Asia took part in the event.

The annual Tel Aviv International Book Fair has concluded, marking one of the key cultural highlights of spring 2025. The fair brought together over 200 authors and publishers from Israel, Europe, the United States, and Asia. Special attention was given to contemporary literature exploring themes of memory, migration, and identity.

Renowned Israeli writers such as Etgar Keret and Dorit Rabinyan led open discussions on the writer’s role in an era of social conflict. The fair also hosted international guests, including Booker and Pulitzer Prize-nominated authors.

One of the main events was a Translation Forum, where participants explored ways to expand Israeli literature into global markets.

The fair featured live readings, writing workshops, and a special program for children and teenagers.
