Anta Sports in Israel: Castro Model Invests 30 Million Shekels to Launch Brand
The Israeli fashion chain Castro Model has signed a franchise agreement with the Chinese sportswear manufacturer Anta Sports. The opening of the first stores and the launch of online sales are scheduled for 2027.

Sportswear brand Anta Sports is entering the Israeli market under a franchise agreement with local fashion retailer Castro, which plans to invest approximately NIS 30 million in developing and promoting the brand. Under the agreement, the partners will open standalone Anta stores, launch a dedicated online store, and establish wholesale distribution. Anta Sports is scheduled to officially launch in Israel in 2027.
Anta Sports is one of China’s largest sportswear manufacturers. The company owns Amer Sports, whose portfolio includes Arc’teryx, Salomon and Wilson, and also holds a significant stake in German sportswear brand PUMA. In the Israeli market, Anta Sports will compete with global brands such as Nike, Adidas, Puma and Decathlon.
