Historic Decision: Argentina to Open Embassy in Jerusalem

Argentine President Javier Milei has confirmed plans to open the country’s embassy in Jerusalem. According to Israeli media, the opening is scheduled for 2026.

Jerusalem Mayor Moshe Lion called Argentina’s decision a “historic step” that will significantly strengthen the city’s international status.

He emphasized that the move reflects the deep alliance between the two countries and demonstrates clear support for Jerusalem as the capital of Israel.
