Jerusalem Design Week 2026 to Convene Leading Designers, Architects, and Artists

The official opening of the festival will take place on July 9 at 7:00 p.m. The opening day’s lineup includes live performances, artistic showcases, and the launch of a special festival publication.

JERUSALEM — From July 9 to 16, the city will host Jerusalem Design Week 2026, one of Israel’s premier events in the fields of design and contemporary art. This year’s festival, themed “Gates of Victory,” will bring together a diverse array of designers, architects, and artists from Israel and around the globe.

The historic Hansen House cultural center, located at 14 Gedalyahu Alon Street in the Talbiya neighborhood, will once again serve as the festival’s central hub. In addition to the main venue, a variety of exhibitions, installations, and special projects will be activated across other districts of the city.

According to the organizers, the 2026 program will explore the dynamic intersections of sports, technology, art, and the urban environment. Visitors can expect to experience debut exhibition projects, large-scale installations, interactive spaces, and multidisciplinary collaborations. More than 100 participants will showcase original works commissioned specifically for Jerusalem Design Week.

The festival will officially kick off on July 9 at 7:00 p.m. The opening day’s lineup includes live performances, artistic showcases, and the launch of a special festival publication. It will also mark the opening of *Offside*, an exhibition dedicated to the phenomenon of Jerusalem’s football fan culture. The evening will conclude with a live concert by Israeli artist Nurit Avishar.

A defining feature of the festival remains its commitment to keeping the majority of its events free and open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore cutting-edge design trends, participate in hands-on workshops, and engage in dynamic panel discussions. Organizers emphasize that the curated program is designed to appeal equally to industry professionals and the broader public interested in contemporary art, architecture, and creative practices.

Held annually, Jerusalem Design Week is widely regarded as a vital platform for international cultural exchange, professional dialogue, and the unveiling of innovative creative projects.
