Omer Adam Concerts in Ramat Gan: Israel Railways to Run Additional Trains

Railway officials and the police have coordinated the addition of eight extra trains. They will operate on a "fill and go" basis.

Israel Railways is launching additional train services for spectators attending Omer Adam’s concerts in Ramat Gan on June 9 and 10. This will help avoid traffic jams and allow concertgoers to travel home comfortably after the evening shows. Trains will depart from Bnei Brak station, which is the closest to the stadium, thereby easing traffic congestion in the area and minimizing inconvenience for local residents and city visitors.

In the past, similar events at this venue often resulted in a transport collapse: after the show, spectators would spend hours in traffic jams or struggle to board overcrowded buses. The new transportation scheme is designed to solve this long-standing problem.

Railway officials and the police have coordinated the schedule to swiftly transport the audience to various cities across the country after the concerts end. Special trains will depart from Bnei Brak station in major directions: to Nahariya, Ashkelon and Beer Sheva, Jerusalem and Modi’in, as well as to the cities of the Sharon region (up to Herzliya). The estimated departure time for these special routes is from 23:18 to 00:10. Additionally, the route of the regular night train (No. 687) will be extended specifically for the spectators; it will depart at 00:27 and pass through Tel Aviv and the Gush Dan cities to Ashkelon.

Passengers are advised to check the exact schedule and stops for their desired direction in advance. All up-to-date information can be found on the Israel Railways app and website, their official WhatsApp channel, or by contacting the customer service center at *5770 or via WhatsApp at 052-3273570.

The Ministry of Transport emphasizes that these measures will become the new logistics standard for mass events in the country. The updated transportation scheme was implemented both for the convenience of the attendees and to enhance overall safety.

Omer Adam’s concerts traditionally sell out, and the additional trains will serve as a reliable alternative to private cars for everyone planning to attend the shows on June 9 and 10.
