Jerusalem Bike Ride 2026: Date, Routes, and Registration for the Mass Event
At the end of May, Israel’s largest sporting event will take place — the annual mass bike ride “Around Jerusalem 2026” (Sovev Yerushalayim). The event is scheduled for May 29, 2026. According to preliminary estimates by the organizers, more than 5,000 cyclists will take part in the ride. The event is designed for both professional athletes and outdoor enthusiasts.
Several routes of varying lengths are provided for participants: distances of 50, 30, and 15 km, as well as a family ride of approximately 8 km. This allows participants to choose a suitable route depending on their level of physical fitness. The tracks run through famous historical districts of Jerusalem, making the ride not only a sporting event but also a sightseeing one. The popular cultural and entertainment complex “First Station” (HaTakhana HaRishona) has been selected as the starting point for all distances.
Registration for the bike ride is already open. Those wishing to participate must apply online — the link to the registration form is available on the organizers’ official social media pages and on the website www.sovevjerusalem.co.il/. Given the scale of the event and the consistently high interest in it, participants are advised to secure their spots for their preferred distances in advance.
