Winter Dreams II Festival at the Jerusalem Botanical Garden: Lights, Installations, and Kosher Food

From November 29, 2025, to January 31, 2026, the Jerusalem Botanical Garden in Givat Ram will transform into a magical corner of Europe, featuring light installations, interactive art objects, and a winter menu by Chef Moshik Roth.

Starting November 29, the Botanical Garden in Givat Ram will open the Winter Dreams II festival, an international winter light show. The event has previously been held in major European capitals, including Berlin, Barcelona, Paris, London, and Rome.

Light installations and art objects will be placed throughout the garden: a glowing train, light arches, interactive tunnels, animal figures, fields of luminous flowers, and other light compositions. Special musical accompaniment has been prepared for the festival. Nearly one million color-changing LED lights will illuminate the garden’s pathways, creating the unique atmosphere of a European winter right in the heart of Jerusalem.

The festival’s culinary section is curated by chef Moshik Roth. Guests will be able to try gourmet sausages, Spanish patatas bravas, fish and chips, roasted chestnuts and almonds, churros, baked potatoes, popcorn and hot corn, hot cider, salep, sangria, hot chocolate, wines, Israeli craft beer, and soups. All dishes are kosher.
